I wasn't impressed by short #2, and I somehow totally missed numbers 1 and 3, so I'll be reading those presently!
Really shocked that neither of my top two (The Cull; Messenger) made it, but cheers to the winners. And the art is all great--one of the most impressive things about Clarkesworld is the consistency of the art direction. No other SF publication comes close, stylistically.

Great winners but didn't we vote for a best non-fiction also? What happened to that?
Neil Clarke wrote on February 1st, 2011 at 9:59 am:
Unfortunately, the majority of people skipped the non-fiction portion of the survey. We didn't receive enough votes in those categories to declare a winner. The margin of error was bigger than the difference in votes between 1st and 8th place.

@euphrosyne, I'm with you as regards #2--I really disliked this story, as I found it tedious and self-indulgent. Obviously I'm in the minority here.
#3 was great, but I also skipped #1. Off to read, now!
