I really liked this tale, and thought the narration was quite heartfelt and beautiful. As a follower of Zen Buddhism, I'm familiar with the concept of not getting attached to things and in some degree people. This story is a perfect example of the dangers of not being able to let someone or something go, despite the fact that death is a natural and inevitable part of life, and whether a "soul" can be cloned along with a body (which is only a matter of time).

I liked how the the husband didn't give up. You hear heartbreaking stories sometimes of people having to deal with sudden diseases or mental illnesses in their spouses--things you couldn't have ever foreseen--and learning to deal with it together. I loved how dynamic the characters were here--well done.
