ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Genevieve Valentine is the author of Mechanique: A Tale of the Circus Tresaulti. This was so moving. It's still settling over me, so maybe I should wait to comment. But it really is a deep portrait of lonliness; the character of Henry is very vivd. I love how his internal calm is secretly collapsing as his former home did, and as how Earth, too, is falling apart, miles away. Everything echoes each other.
