Sandeep Karunakaran is a self-taught science fiction and fantasy artist from Calicut (Kerala) in the southern part of India. He started drawing at a very early age and always had a keen interest in paintings, cartoons, and comics. Sandeep originally focused on traditional painting and made the leap to digital in 2002. He approaches his work as visual storytelling and incorporates a full-spectrum of themes from scientific exploration to dark disturbing nightmares.
