Rodrigo Juri is a 47 year old author and retired high school Biology teacher from Chile. He was named after Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, El Cid Campeador, the greatest hero of the Spanish reconquest, and characterized by Charlton Heston in a classic film from the early 60's. His wife of thirteen years is Ximena, curiously enough, the same name as El Cid's wife. They share their home with nine cats.
Rodrigo is has been fond of science fiction literature since he was a child and is now a member of Literature
Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy of Chile (ALCiFF). He has published science fiction stories in portals and science fiction anthologies in Chile, Argentina and Spain, and some of his work has been translated into French and Italian. "One in a Million" is his first publication in a professional magazine.
